How we keep you safe at The Physio Spot

We have implemented procedures to keep you healthy when you visit.

Screening –  Staff and clients will be contacted prior to appointments and screened for risk factors every day.  Please check your email reminders and fill out the COVID-19 Screening form.

Physical Distancing in Common Areas – We have removed most chairs from the waiting room and marked the floor with tape and waiting locations.  Staff will be relegated to one treatment room and workout area to demonstrate exercises.

Use of PPE – Because your Physiotherapist will be withing the 6 foot distance, they will be wearing surgical or N95 masks.  Front desk will also be wearing masks.  We ask that all patients wear a face covering (cloth, surgical or N95) to their appointment.  If you do not have a mask , we can provide a surgical mask for a small fee – a portion of the proceeds will go to charity.

Enhanced Cleaning/Disinfection – We only use disinfectants and cleaners that meet Health Canada standards for killing the Coronavirus.  As per our regular practice, Physiotherapists will be thoroughly washing their hands in between each patient contact.  We are also using hospital grade hand sanitizer in the clinic.

Staggered Appointment Times – To minimize traffic at our front desk, we have staggered Physiotherapist start times to minimize overlap of patients entering/leaving the clinic.

Virtual Options – We will also continue to provide Virtual Consults for those who are unable to attend in-person appointments at this time.

Our official opening date will be Monday, June 1st.  To ensure you get your desired time, please call the office at (905) 471-8200 or book online.  Please note that there will be fewer appointment slots available per day to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfection.

We’re excited to provide you with quality in-person care again.
