Lucas Tkachyk

Lucas completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, building on a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from McMaster University.

His background in engineering brings a unique, analytical perspective to physiotherapy – blending problem-solving, biomechanics, and evidence-based decision-making to guide assessment and treatment.

Lucas has gained extensive hands-on experience assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with additional exposure to neurological and medically complex populations through diverse clinical placements.He takes a patient-centred approach that integrates manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation to help patients move confidently and return to meaningful activities.

Lucas values clear communication and collaborative goal-setting, and believes that understanding the “why” behind movement and injury empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Lucas enjoys working out, camping and hiking, attending concerts, supporting Toronto sports teams, and exploring the city’s coffee scene.
